Hella D2S 35W High Intensity Discharge Capsule, 4300K or 5000K SKU: D2S

D2S Stands for "Discharge Second eneration Shielded". Bulbs are specifically designed for projector headlamps. Low beam projection headlamps contain a shield positioned between the lens and reflector to provide the sharp low beam cut off. A high beam does not have a shield. Lamps desinated "Bi-Xenon" have a shield which retracts on High Beam.

There is no ignitor on a D2S bulb, it is contained in the ballest box.
