Computers - TerraTrip Rally Computers rank amongst the
most durable and accurate in
the world. TerraTrip has been
producing competitive rally equipment
for more than 30 years. Their equipment is used
by professional rally teams the
world over and have led many
teams to WRC Championships.
Their accuracy, reliability and rugged design allows
them to be used by survey teams
and governments around the globe
for road and terrain survey. TerraTrip
offers a model to suit every budget,
from the TerraTrip1 to the full
featured TerraTrip 303+.

Rally Computer models here.
In addition to the computer, you need to select
and order a probe suitable for
you your needs. The probe is the
signal source and distance reference
for the computer. Terratrip has
three mechanical probes and one
electronic interface. Two of
the mechanical probes are used
with mechanical Speedometer cables
and one is mounted in a wheel hub
looking at the heads of the hub
bolts as the wheel rotates. The
electronic interface is used in
applications where the speedometer
is electronic, not mechanical. The
interface is installed between
whatever is sending distance pulses
to your speedometer and the Terratrip.
The 202+ and the 303+ can each be equipped
with a wired remote control so the
co-driver can operate the critical functions of the computer
at a distance. This
remote can be added at any time.
From the factory, the 202+ and the 303+ can be equipped with
a remote display for an abbreviated information display for
the driver - please call for info.

Intercoms |
Rally Intercoms - For reliable and cost-effective Driver/Co-driver communications, Terratrip offers two levels of helmet mount intercoms and a set of "practice" headphones for use on transits without helmets.
Both the Club and the Pro version of the intercom
feature two volume controls, one
for the driver and one for the
co-driver. Each also includes
an auxiliary input suitable for
connecting to a two-way radio. The
Professional Intercom also has
a voice output suitable for a feed
to a two-way radio or a video camera.
There are two styles of headsets, one suitable
for use on a Full-faced helmet
and the other suitable for use on an Open-faced helmet. The
Professional headsets are equipped with noise canceling microphones.
If you plan to use the Professional version and interface the voice to a video camera or to a two-way radio, you'll also want to purchase the Radio Controls - a cable set that interfaces to a DIN plug on the back of the Pro Intercom for all of the external connections.
Practice Headsets (so called because they are
used on practice runs at WRC events)
are used on long transits instead
of wearing your helmets. These
are a necessity inside a powerful,
noisy car. They
feature fully padded headbands
and ear cups and are equipped with
a boom type microphone for communication.
We've prepared
Supplemental Installation Notes for the Intercoms. They
can be found here.

Maplights |
Rally Maplights - Made by Avanti
in Italy, Terratrip supplies a
maplight made specifically for
Rally applications. This gooseneck
maplight is stiff enough to maintain
position even under the extreme
vibration and impacts found in Rally and is not so bright as
to interfere with your night vision or create unwanted reflections
in the interior of the car. In
addition to the Terratrip supplied
maplights, the link below will show you a selection of Hella
maplights - a much brighter maplight suitable for non-competition
applications such as in a support vehicle.
The search below does include some Hella Map and Reading Lamps,
however, we find the Terralights
to be more durable and hold their
position better than the Hella
Map Lamps. The Goose Neck is far more robust on the
Terratrip Terralights.
