Hella Tripletone Air Horn

Air horns use a reed and have a trumpet like sound. The components are larger and more difficult to mount in today tightly packed engine compartments. Air horns should be mounted pointed forward and slightly down so that no water builds up in them.

The Standard Triple Air Horn Kit includes 3 Trumpets, a relay, air hose, mounting hardware and a high performance compressor with a built-in air filter.   The Melodical Triple Air Horn Kit includes the above with a different high performance compressor and a 2 position switch to select simultaneous or sequential  sounding of the trumpets.

Lucy's comments: Here's my opinion on the horn sounds. I'll use the terminology of Consonant (pleasant) and Dissonant (irritating). The two low sounds are Consonant, but the high tone is Dissonant to the middle tone. Similar to the tones of E-flat, G, A-flat. E-flat to G is a major third, which is pleasant to the ear, but G to A-flat is like two notes side by side on the piano, grating on the ear.
