Battery Master Switches

TT061

HL87181 is the familiar standard Hella Master Battery Switch with the red paddle key and UL approval.   Use as a safety cutoff for competition vehicles or as a security cutoff for recreational vehicles.   There are two terminals - one from the battery positive and the second to the electrics in the rest of the car. The Alternator output should be connected directly to the battery positive. A second set of contacts to open the Alternator field coil is not required in this configuration.   HL62471 is the Heavy Duty, all metal construction Hella Master Battery Switch.

Hella Heavy Duty Master Battery Switch

TT061 is the TerraTrip 6 Pole Battery Switch, which is FIA Approved and isolates the alternator as well as the battery.  The TerraTrip Switch also includes a 3 Ohm, 11 Watt resister.
