LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting has come a long way since the LED displays of the 70's in calculators and the first digital watches. LED Lighting has become the most power efficient form of lighting available. LED Lighting has several other advantages including an average life span of 100,000 hours, extremely fast response-time for greater safety (At 55 MPH this means an extra 16 feet of warning distance) and Solid State construction meaning no moving parts or filaments to break for outstanding durability which is unaffected by vibration, shock or changes in temperature. These lights are extremely economical to use over the long haul.

Hella Submersible DuraLED Multivolt Tail Lamps, Water
The Hella LED DuraLED Multivolt Tail Lamps has many advantages over incandescent tails including the ability to be connected to either 12 Volt or 24 Volt systems (9V-33V), the elimination of low light performance due to voltage drop over long cables and bad connectors, fast response-time, low power requirements and great durability. These lamps are sealed and are maintainence free. HL81443 complies to SAE S2 T2 I6 99 DOT and the Red color complies with the applicable test requirements of FMVSS No. 108. HL81444 complies to SAE I6 99 DOT and the Amber color complies with the applicable test requirements of FMVSS No. 108. Each unit has 36 LED's.
