Hella Micro DE Projector Fog, or Xenon HID Driving Lamps

This is the New Micro DE Projector from Hella. Only 2" in diameter, this advanced design lamp is as powerful as the much larger 550 or 500 Fog and generates a superior fog pattern. This is the ideal Fog lamp to install behind an air dam or bumper as the only cutout required is a 2" diameter hole. The lens is of a high quality tempered glass and the shell is magnesium to withstand the heat of the 55W H3 bulb in such a small enclosure. The lamp is available only with a Black ring. The Silver and Blue ring have been discontinued. The rubber boot shown on rear is included.

The Micro DE Xenon HID Driving Lamp is often used inset into the body work or other discrete location.   Perfect for use on motorcycles.   This lamp makes the equivalent light of a 300 watt lamp, while only drawing about 35 watts, after startup.  

The white light is near the color of daylight, about 4000 degrees K.

I use these on my (5th) Audi 4000cs quattro.   I love them, they are stronger than the low beams AND high beams of this car and I am using the stock 55W bulbs in the Micro DE's.   I now feel much safer driving on the Deer Infested Roads of Pennsylvania.    The Beam Pattern is very wide and lights up the road sides very well.   -Gregg
