BOSCH/Guide 150mm Rectangular ECE, E-Code Conversion Headlamps Replaces 4703 Sealed Beams |
Sealed beams are designed to be thrown away when the filament burns out. The manufacturer puts as little cost as possible into the lens and reflector. These Lamps feature Tempered Glass Lenses and Polished Steel Reflectors. BOSCH/Guide conversion headlamps were designed for GM export vehicles going to countries that require E Code Headlamps. Because these lamps use replaceable bulbs you are afforded the liberty of taking advantage of the latest in bulb technology like Long Life, Xenon and Yellowstar or going with a higher wattage. H4 bulbs are rated by wattage High Beam / Low Beam. Installation is straight forward, though some re-wiring or our wiring harness is required because the existing Low Beam Lamps have only one filament and the new Lamps have dual filaments. Because these Lamps come with the mounting buckets, they can also easily be adapted to replace the High Beam Lamps. In this configuration, only the High Beam circut is connected. A rubber boot is included to protect the rear of the lamp from the weather. These lamps are not DOT/SAE approved and are sold for off-road and racing purposes only. |

Please take notice. These Lamps are New Old Stock, never been used, but have been in a warehouse for some years. Some of the lamps may have some cloudiness on the lens and may require some cleaning with alcohol and a long cotton swap or a thin Artist's Brush. This is just the release agent from the mold in which the lenses were made. |
