Hankook racing tires are found in racing competition on tracks and racing circuits throughout Europe and Asia. The same high levels of technology were brought to America in 2003 with the introduction of the Ventis RSS Z211 R-Compound Racing Tire. The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) partnered with hankook to supply the Ventis RSS Z211 R-Compound Racing Tire as the official spec tire for the SCCA Mazdaspeed Miata Cup series. As this SCCA sponsorship continues in 2005, Hankook has also signed a three-year agreement for sponsorship of the Hankook United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) road racing series sanctioned by the National Auto Sports Association (NASA).

Hankook has pulled out of the competition tire field in the US except for its line of DOT R-Compound tires. Only a few sizes of Rally and Road Racing tires remain.
